Description A very unique and rare beetroot wine recipe that takes some time to mature, but once it has you will have a delicious drink which is definitely worth the wait. Try it!

  • • 1 Kg Beetroot
  • • 3-4kg Sugar
  • • 1 Liter of Water
  • • 30g of Dry Yeast
  • • 2 Lime Slices
Methods/steps
  1. 1. Firstly, boil the beetroot in water and cut into small cubes
  2. 2. Add another liter of water and boil again for about ten minutes
  3. 3. When done, allow beetroot to cool completely
  4. 4. Add the lime juice and mix well
  5. 5. Throw the mix into a pan or brewing vessel and sprinkle dry yeast over it
  6. 6. Cover the pan/vessel with white cloth and store in a warm place for 15 days
  7. 7. After the 15th day, pour the wine into a bottle or canister and leave for 2 months
  8. 8. After 2 months your wine will be matured and ready to be enjoyed.
